Cove Wright is in her last year of high school with so many things to look forward to. Her senior night as captain of the cheerleading team, getting crowned homecoming queen the night after, her hopeful acceptance letter from Yale, being promposed to, and most especially graduating from not only school but from the person she became just to escape to her ivy dream.

Nothing could get in her way.

That is until she dies in a tragic accident the same night her ex-best friend Maddie Nears disappears mysteriously.

The two wake up stuck in the school they dread the most but both with different missions. While Maddie tries to figure out who murdered her, Cove is trying to cope with the fate of her ultimate meaningless end. No adoration, no praise, no attention, no love, no nothing.

Thankfully an 80s ghost has been watching her from afar for some time now to give her everything she was hoping for.
