At Mahal Palace

The coldest night of the year 13th January festival of Lohri is going to be celebrated by Mahal's in one of their farm house, To welcome thier new daughter-in-law Jasleen Kaur who got married to Harpreet Singh last year on September.

It's her first Lohri after marriage.The preparation are going on as only two days are left. Now only few guests are left invite.

But our clumsy girl is still sleeping in her room.

Manraj: Noor wake up

Noor: Let me sleep please! U don't know how much work your son gave me to complete that I was awake till late night.Now pls let me sleep (in sleepy voice)

On that time Harpreet was passing by her room and heared how her sister was praising him.

Harpreet: Then who told u to complete the work in one day before submission,when i gave u a whole week to complete that.
Now wake up and get ready and if today also u come late then I will fire you and hire a new secratary.(in cold voice)

Noor: (in mind) He raaba keho Jaya Veera dita ya.Apni hi bhen nu fire Karn nu keh Rahevvya ya.

[O God! what kind brother u had given.He is threatening to fire his own sister]

Noor: [in irritating voice] Ohk I am up, will be down in half and hour.

At dinning table
Gurdev:(cousin)
Veere Grewal's nu saadna ta zaruri ya
[Brother it necessary to invite Grewal's right]

Hardev:(noor's father) Offcourse!we have to invite them.As it is our one of the grand function and they also know that and our parents are family friends

Harpreet: Exactly and I think dad you should personally go and invite them.

Harjeet:(noor's chachu) Ohk then me and veerji will go

[Veerji=big brother]

Noor: Hello everyone. Ki gallan chal rahiya ya menu bhi daso?Kenu invite karan diya gal kar rahe o me bhi phir tuhade nal invite karan javagi?!!

[What u all r talking about tell me? Whom we r going to invite say then I will also go with u to invite ?!!

Gurdev: Dumane tu nahi jaungi.
Dad te tayaji ja rahe ya.

[U will not go.Dad and Uncle will go]

(Dumana is Noor's nickname given by his cousin)

(Tayaji refers to the elder brother of dad)

Noor: Ohkay

Amandeep:( Noor's grandma )
Aaj late keve hoga?
[Why late today?]

Harpreet: Medam nu kaam bho zyada hunde ya esliye phir aapa late unhe ya

[Medam has so much work to do that is why see is late]

Noor: Aaj hi late hoe ya sry n hun pls no lecture

[I get late today only and sry for that but pls no lecture for that]

Jasleen: Noor tu cha peugi
[Noor will u drink tea]

Noor :Yes Yes y not

{ Actually our Noor is addicted to tea u can make her do any difficult work by given her bribe of tea }
