"We wanted to tell you guys something." Hailee says.
"Okay." Tucker says.
"We're gonna have another baby." Hailee says.
"What?" Tucker asks.
"In a few months, you'll have another sibling." I say.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" Ellie asks.
"I think we should have a brother." Tucker says.
"No, a sister!" Ellie says.
"We don't know yet. We'll know on Friday." Hailee says.
"Where do babies come from?" Tucker asks.
"Yeah." Ellie says as Hailee and I stare at each other.
"The baby store." I say.
"You sure?" Tucker asks.
"Uh, yeah. We all come from the baby store. I remember leaving the baby store, before I was left on a doorstep like an Amazon package." I say.
"Were we left on a doorstep?!" Ellie asks.
"Of course not, honey." Hailee says.
"Oh." Ellie says.
"So I take it you guys are excited." I say.
They nod and Hailee smiles.
Time Skip
"I need a really big favor." I say.
"Okay." Taylor says.
I hang Taylor the envelope and she raises an eyebrow.
"In that envelope is gender of-" I ask.
"The gender of the baby?!" Taylor asks.
"Yes-" I say.
"Oh my god!" Taylor says.
"Can I open it?" Taylor asks.
"Yeah, but don't tell me." I say.
Taylor opens the envelope takes the paper out.
"Well, shit." Taylor says reading the page.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask, as she scratches her head.
"Nothing." Taylor says, quickly putting it back in the envelope.
"Can you plan a gender reveal party?" I ask.
"Me?" Taylor asks.
"Who else could I be talking to?" I ask.
"Nobody, I'm just honored." Taylor says.
"Don't go crazy, we seen trying to burn the neighborhood down or land somebody in the hospital." I say.
"How about I just order a bunch of cupcakes and ask them to fill one with a colored filling?" Taylor asks.
