"This is so beautiful!" Jasmine exclaimed excitedly as she drags me with her. "Yeah, they did a great job decorating everything" I compliment the art students who were responsible for decoration.
We are currently at the arts facility of our campus, for the belated Halloween party which is being hosted here tonight. The large ground which is filled with beautiful paintings under our feet and the trees and lamps were filled with lanterns and cute little flags
There's a fountain in between the ground, lights illuminating around it which makes the water shine with different colors like rainbows. This looks more of a celebration than a halloween party. The sun is already set and the lamps are lit up giving the atmosphere a more lively feeling.
There are many food stalls set up by students of different departments and stalls for games too.
Students have already started to gather as the party has begun. I could see many dressed up in their favorite characters like Disney princesses, their profession or mythical creatures like vampires and stuff. This place is mixed with both soft and dark core.
"Damn- I can't recognise anyone" Jasmine says as she is still holding my hand as her eyes wander around trying to spot her friends "Yeah the make up skills are really on top" I Chuckle. Even I can't recognise my friends among them
Jasmine is dressed up as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. She didn't even have to try, she had this light blue Indian dress which was perfect for Princess Jasmine's attire.The embroidery on the dress is the show stealer With some jewelry and makeup she is literally doing justice for the role. Her hair tied in bubble braids like shown in the movie
Whereas I am dressed up as Rapunzel, with my blonde hair I thought this would be the best and Tangled being my childhood,no way I was going to let this opportunity slip, with a purple silk dress with a lavender cosset, the money I spent on this thing should be worth it. It's a bit tight but I feel pretty with my hair down. I even brought purple heels with small flowers, to match with this dress. Well Rapunzel never wore shoes but I had to.
"Hey! Look at that!" Jasmine points her finger towards the fountain. That's when I notice the huge sun shaped painting on the ground before the fountain. It's the same one that was shown in Tangled . We both walk towards it to look at it closely. "It's so beautiful." I admire the design. Jasmine nods her head and clicks a few pictures of it
"Wait- I should take a few pictures of you with the painting. It will look nice!" Jasmine utter and makes me pose for the photo. After a while of clicking the pictures I moved forward to her to check them. "I give five stars to your photography skills!" I give Jasmine a thumbs up and she Chuckles. She captured this moment very well
"But there's something missing, I feel like there's something incomplete" she zooms at one of my pictures examining it . I frown "really? But I think they are nice". Jasmine doesn't agree with it and shakes her head
