Part 15 : Drugs!

Two days rolled on.

Randhir's health was not stable yet.

Sanyukta was getting more worried for him now.

Randhir feels weak.

Often vomits.

Fever is no more but the vomits are still continuing.

"Doctor can you please come, Randhir is still not feeling well" Sanyukta said over the phone

"Sure..." Doctor came

Randhir was lying on bed seeing the restless Sanyukta.

"Please don't do all this for me Sanyukta...I don't deserve it" Randhir mumbled

Renuka who was out on tour was unaware of the happening

Dadi and Harsh were only concern people there

"Randhir doctor is coming okay" "You'll feel better now" She said pressing his hand

"Hmmm..." Randhir nodded

"Sanyukta...why are you so nice?" "I don't know what should I do- I am lucky to have you in my life but I at same time I am unlucky cause...you are going to hate me after knowing the truth" "I am unlucky...that...I can...I can never..love..." his trance was broken when doctor came there

Doctor checked Randhir.

He took blood samples of him and prescribed some more medicines to Randhir

"Mrs Shekhawat...reports will be out in evening please come to collect them" doctor informed

"Sure doctor" Sanyukta nodded

Doctor left after sometime.

"Sanyukta...don't you have college today?" Randhir asked

"Yes I have..but I am not going" She replied

"Why?" He asked

"What why?" "How can I leave you in this state and go" She said adjusting his pillow beneath his head

"Don't do this" "Please don't miss you college for me" Randhir said

"I will take notes from Vidushi dont worry" Sanyukta said

She covered him with blanket.

"Why are you doing this?" He said

"Cause I want to..." She winked and he remembered the last incident when she had asked the same question and he replied to that with a same answer

Randhir smiled faintly

"You get well soon...then we will go for Chole Kulcha" she said

Randhir nodded

"Randhir can I ask you something?" She said

"Hmm..." came his reply

"I am sorry if you feel like I am interfering in your life...but"

"You are not...you have every right to know about my life..." He said

She smiled hearing that

"Randhir I was just wondering..I mean...I feel you are hiding something"  She completed the sentence but it shocked Randhir to the core

"What?" "What are you saying?" Randhir got panic

"I mean...is something that is troubling you" "Something that is not going right..." "you can share it with me Randhir" She kept her hand on his

"Nothing Sanyukta..." Randhir replied

"You came drunk that night..." "Is something disturbing you Randhir" She cupped his face

"No Sanyukta...nothing" Randhir lied

"Okay..." She replied and looked down

"Its work pressure nothing else..." Randhir said

"Okay...but please don't stress yourself because of that" "Work is important but not at the cost of your health" Sanyukta said

"And drinking is not a solution to it Randhir" "Please...quit it" "Its not good" She said with concern

  "True..." Randhir replied  

"If you want I can re-join Shekhawat group...I will help you in work" Sanyukta suggested

"Great...I'll talk to Dad then..." Randhir chirped

"Okay..." She replied

"Okay...you take rest now" "I am going down...have some work" Sanyukta added

Randhir nodded

Sanyukta left the room leaving Randhir alone with his thoughts in room

"Hopefully...this will work" "I want to make you independent Sanyukta..." "Because I know...the big step which I am going to take will lead us where..." "I want you to be stable in life" "I will talk to Dad to appoint you as permanent employee post you complete your graduation" "Don't make me more weak Sanyukta..." "I can feel you care for me...but I am not worthy it" Randhir's heart cried

"Situations were not good when we got married...but I hope...after THIS...you will be happier in life which you deserve"

"I am sorry Sanyukta..." "I am sorry for everything..." Randhir squeezed his eyes and tears rolled down from his eyes

"Kash main tumhe yeh bata pata Sanyukta...ki" He stopped in between

"Kash...." He concluded

Evening came in

Sanyukta and Randhir were on the way to hospital

There were minimum exchange of words between them as Randhir was still not feeling well.

They reached hospital.

Doctor did a check up and came out with reports.

"Doctor...is everything fine" Sanyukta inquired

"Not exactly...Mr Shekhawat...we found minor traces of drugs in your blood sample" Doctor said

Sanyukta was shocked to hear that while Randhir looked down in guilt again

"What?" Sanyukta asked again

"Yes Mrs Shekhawat...we found drugs in his blood sample" doctor said

Sanyukta looked at Randhir in disbelief
