"I'll be in my room, drawing."
"Oh sweetie. You saved a bunch of mers, don't be so disappointed. Look at the positive parts, not the bad parts." My mom comforted.
"Yeah listen to your mom." Aunt Sage said.
"Sage, what's up with you? You seem to have no sympathy and you've been distracted." My mother scolded.
"It's nothing Amanda. I'm fine." Oh great, now they're fighting...for the millionth time.
"Fine you wanna know? My job required me to-I can't tell you." I quietly snuck off to my bedroom. I could still hear their bickering. Ugh.
"Sage get out of my house. Now!"
"Amanda, listen! It was my job. It's not my choice, I would've gotten fired!" Why do they argue over the dumbest things? I lied on my bed and stared at the ceiling. I guess one good thing out of this is that my siblings can't bother me. But it's so boring. I just know that one day, if he's still out there, I will find him. After all, it seems that I do have The Powers of Swan Cove on my side.
Yeah, I didn't know what to write, but hey, it's over. I'll try to get the first chapter of the next book out but I may not be able to. I hope you enjoyed the book and thanks for reading.
