St. Aquinas School was first established in a building connected to a tiny church named after St. Thomas Aquinas, a Catholic patron of all universities and students.
Newer and taller adjoining school buildings surround the church now, and it has become a landmark because of it's large, beautiful, stained glass dome that takes up most of the roof. The school honors its patron with a Winter Banquet on January 28th, his feast day.
The school was founded in 1901 as a private all-boys school. It was later converted to be coeducational. There are approximately two hundred students enrolled.
