Chapter ten

Madison Harper
"Im sorry Madison don't be mad." She said.

"What im not mad." I laughed. "But why do you look so sad and bothered."

"Because I feel bad for cheating on Topper." She said and Rafe whistled causing both of us to jump at his sudden presence.

"You're in some deep shit Sarah." He said now walking toward us.

"Shut up Rafe." She said rubbing her temple.

"Look don't listen to him just as long as your happy that's all that matters right?" I said and she nodded.

"Good." I smiled. She then left randomly, walking upstairs to her room.

"Rafe why do you make everything so much worse?" I said tilting my head at him.

"I don't." He said shrugging his shoulders.

"Mhm." I nodded my head suspiciously he stared at me for a while and then walked away. I felt my phone go off and I looked at it. It was an instagram notification from Rafe.

I checked my phone to see he posted the picture of us. I smiled at it and clicked on it. He tagged me and next to it he put 'my girl'. I felt my heart warm up, but none of it's real. It's all for publicity.

I shut my phone off looking for a snack in the kitchen. This was going to be one boring, long night.

The party began getting more and more people as the house was now filled with at least 40 kooks. I stood by Rafe the whole time following him everywhere like I was his pet.

"Yo what's up man!" Kelce said greeting Rafe. I stood there awkwardly. I had no one to talk to here besides Sarah but she wasn't even here she went with John b. Im happy shes happy but wow I never knew they would get together.

Rafe and I walked to his living room area. He sat down but I stood up.

"Sit on my lap baby." He said making me cringe at his words.

"Stop calling me that Rafe, and no im not sitting on your lap." I said crossing my arms. He rolled his eyes grabbing my waist and pulling me onto his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist holding me still.

"Rafe let me go." I said through my gritted teeth.

"Stop being difficult Madison." He said in my ear. I rolled my eyes sitting there very awkward. I chugged my drink angrily putting it on the table in front of me. Rafe looked at me with concern.

"You okay?" He asked. Something about his change of tone made me melt into him.

"Yeah im good." I smiled at him, staring into his soft blue eyes. He stared into my brown eyes for a moment before bringing his hand to cup my cheek.

"Why are you being so soft with me Rafe?" I asked moving my face into his hand.

"You make me feel at home Maddie." He said and I froze. What does he mean by that?

"What do you mean?" I said furrowing my brows at him. Before he can answer a very mad Lily interrupted us.

"Excuse me, why are you all over him?" She said crossing her arms. I turned around to look at her. I gave her a look making sure I heard her correctly.

"He's my boyfriend? Aww you jealous." I said with a pouting my face, before smirking.

"You're such a bitch." She said and I fake gasped.

"Oh my god, im so hurt." I said placing a hand on my chest before letting out a giggle. I heard Rafe laugh from behind me.

"This is why you're parents left you." She said my smile immediately faded away. The crowd of people looking at the scene went blank. I saw Rafe look at me with sadness.

"Yeah. Not so bold now huh?" She continued while raising an eyebrow.

"You want to say shit about me? I fucking trusted you with that shit Lily." I said still giving her an angry look.

"I don't care. You're hands are all upon my man. That's supposed to be me." She said as tears welled her eyes. I laughed. She needs to be put down. I cant take this anymore.

"Right." I said grabbing Rafes drink and pouring it on top if her head. The liquid spilled all over her hair as it rolled down her face and expensive clothing. She scoffed and the crowd gasped.

"That's my girl." I heard Rafe mumble from behind me. I smiled to myself still staring at her.

"Are you fucking serious?" She said wiping her eyes. She needs to swing or I will. I stood there unfazed.

"I swear im going to fucking kill you!" She said charging at me attempting to punch me in the face but I dodged it.

"Woah women. Not my face." I whispered hitting her in the face. She winced in pain now doing the same to me. I grabbed her by her hair and pulled her to the ground. We were now in an active fight. Ive been waiting for this shit. I continued hitting her in the face as she continued pulling on my hair. What a pussy.

We were so into the fight I didn't realize Sarah and the pouges came. They broke through the cheering crowd gasping at the scene infront of them.

"Holy shit." John b said.

"What the hell." Pope said with wide eyes.

"Rafe do something!" Sarah shouted breathing heavily.

"Nah." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Now!" Sarah said and he rolled his eyes.

"Fine fuck." He said getting up and approaching me. Lily pulled my hair trying to punch me in the face but couldn't because I was hitting her. I felt someone pull me off of her and it was Rafe.

"That's enough." JJ said pulling Lily off the ground to prevent her from charging at me again. I breathed heavily trying to calm down. What she said about my parents made me really mad.

"Good job my lady." Rafe said holding his hand out for me to hi-five. I laughed smacking his hand.

"What the fuck is wrong with you Madison?" Sarah shouted. Wait why are they mad at me? I didn't do shit. If anything I was defending myself.

"Nothing?" I said with furrowed brows.

"Are you okay?" Kie said as she walked over to me. The crowd went back to partying and the pouges were still in shock.

"Im fine." I said with a gulp. JJ glanced my way giving Rafe a dirty look. Shit. They know.

"We need to go. We have to talk." Kie said and I nodded. She walked away and I turned to Rafe.

"Ill see you tomorrow okay?" I said.

"I didn't get to finish what I wanted to say." Rafe said and I shut my eyes before opening them again.

"We'll talk about it tomorrow." I said and walked off.
