  Chapter 6, Spa Day With Xiomara
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    " I actually, hope we make a new friend this year. Someone whose our age and in our grade, ya know? "
  ~ Scarlett's POV ~
      It's now the day after the gender reveal party, which meant it was a spa day with Xiomara.
   After I brushed my teeth and got ready for the day, I walked downstairs and sat at the couch in the living room to watch something on Netflix.
   "New shows..."
  I mumbled to myself as I grabbed the remote and clicked the new and popular icon, I scrolled until I reached a show called 'MaveriX'.
  With nothing to do for the next two hours since Xiomara was babysitting Rosa and she didn't want to bring her, I got comfortable on the couch and clicked the first episode.
   I didn't even expect myself to be interested in the show but here I am, sitting in a criss cross position and focusing on the characters.
   The show was in Australia, I found their accents so attractive if I'm being honest.
   After two hours of binging the show, I clicked off it as the door bell rung.
  I sighed in annoyance as I realized I had finished the show and now has to wait probably decades to watch the next one, I got up from the couch and turned the TV off.
   I grab my keys and walk to the door, smiling when I am embraced with a warm hug by Xiomara.
  After we let go, we walk to my car and get inside, we were going to the mall to get our nails and hair done.
    Which was fun, I enjoyed spending all my free time with Xiomara, she's my best friend and she's done a lot to help me out.
  I mean she was here when Jaden and I broke up, got back together, she helped me through my depressed era and got me to my reputation era.
   I am forever grateful for her, even if it doesn't seem like it.
   When we get to the mall, we get out the car and start to walk inside.
   We were talking about school and making this year our best one yet when I felt a wave of sadness hit, we were all going to be doing our own things after highschool.
   "Xio, what do you wanna be or do when you're out of school?"
   I asked curiously as we walk into the nail salon and sit down, there were a bunch of people here before us but we didn't mind waiting.
   Besides, this nail salon was also a boba shop so we walked towards the end and sat down at a table, skimming through the menus as we spoke.
   "Fashion designer, I always loved making my own clothes. Especially since I barely had any growing up, I wanna be a big one though."
   Xiomara gushed as she placed her menu down and waited for a waiter to come over to us, I looked at her and smiled.
   That meant she would be going off to college and then becoming a world known fashion designer, making outfits for famous people.
   "Oh, oh that's amazing. I could be your mannequin."
   I told her with a big smile, although I didn't want her leaving me behind.
   "What do you wanna do or become when you're out of school?"
   Xiomara returned the question, which stumped me.
  I didn't know what I wanted to become, I could follow in my father's footsteps and become an actress or become a song writer.
   "I actually don't know, I have many options."
  I told Xiomara, she smiled at me and then the waiter came over.
   We ordered our usual, as we waited for our bobas, my mind began to race around the fact I still didn't know what I wanted to do.
   "Jaden wants to become a major league baseball superstar, Javon wants to be the world boxing champion, Jaysean also wants to be a baseball superstar."
   Xiomara told me as she handed me my drink, I looked at her with wide eyes.
  Half of our friend group already knew what they wanted to do, am I seriously the only one that didn't know what they wanted to do?
   "Cora and Jayla, well, Jayla's becoming in actress and Cora's almost getting her degree."
   Xiomara continued.
  Lord, stop this girl from talking.
   I prayed in my head, then we noticed less people in line for their nails.
   We threw out our now empty cups and walked to the seating area, I looked at Xiomara who was too busy staring at the variety of nail polish to notice my anxiety washing the color of my face off.
   "Coral pink? Or should I do a nude pink?"
  Xiomara asked as she held up two small bottles of the nail polish, I pointed at the coral color and took a deep breath.
  " I actually, hope we make a new friend this year. Someone whose our age and in our grade, ya know? "
   I spoke to Xiomara as I grabbed white nail polish and a lavender nail polish, Xiomara looked at me like I was insane before smiling and shaking her head.
   What she didn't know was, I was secretly hoping to find a new friend because all of my close ones were leaving me and they didn't even know it yet.
