" Why the hell are there so many Infectious diseases?
Arrgghhh... "
I mumbled in a mixture of irritation and pain.

The one thing I have realized quite clearly in the few months of my third year, is that I am awful at microbiology.
Ghastly.

The mere thought of bacteria, fungi, etc. gives me nightmares now, because as horrible as they are, it is even more horrible to read and learn about them.

Why??
What was I thinking??

I am pretty sure every medical student has asked themselves this question at least once in their course.

And I have asked this many more times than that.

I was sitting on our bench, busy busting my ass to learn them. I almost didn't notice somebody coming close to me until I felt 𝑯𝒊𝒔 presence.

And the next second I heard an excited
" Ana "

I whipped my head toward him.
He was smiling that unmistakable smile that's reserved just for me.

I jumped up and hugged him with all my strength, and so did he.
We didn't let go of each other for several minutes.

We broke the hug and he asked with a huge smile
" How are you, baby? "

Ohhh...
I missed this.
I missed him calling me baby.
His smile
His hug
His fragrance
𝑯𝒊𝒎

" I'm okay. How are you?
God, I missed you. "
I answered

He chuckled in glee
" I did too. I missed you sooo much 𝑴𝒚 𝑨𝒏𝒂. So freaking much. "

Before we could talk further, demoness interrupted us.

" Darling, we have to go. The class will commence in five minutes. And we'd need that much time to reach the hall. "
She said

I and Haans looked back at each other.
We both didn't want the conversation to end, but he needed to go to class.

" Yeah, sure. See you later Haans. "
I said with a small smile.

" See you, 𝑴𝒚 𝑨𝒏𝒂 "
He said looking into my eyes, but then Kashish somewhat dragged him away.

I kept looking at him walking away, and he kept turning to look at me too.
His eyes...

Once he was gone, I turned and started collecting my stuff.
It's time to go home.

I took the tissue that was luckily kept on the book and wiped my tears away.
