"He will need to stay in bed for about a week, just so he can get his strength back. He will need lots of fluids and food. His leg needs to be elevated. It's not hurt too badly anymore. His arm just needs to be rested as well, so you may need to have someone help him with the things he does with that arm." The doctor informs us.

"Yes. I will make sure he gets plenty of rest. How long will he need to stay in the wheel chair?"

"Two weeks." Graysons shoulders sink.

"Okay. Thank you so much, really you have no idea how much this means."

"You're welcome, it's what I'm here for."

We smile.

"Let's get you out of here." I say pushing the wheel chair out of the room.

After Oren gets Grayson positioned in the limo Grayson sighs.

"What is it, honey?" I ask him.

"How am I going to do anything?"

"I'll help you. That's what I'm here for, I love you."

"I love you, too. Thank you, sweetheart, for everything."

I kiss him softly.

"You have to stop kissing me like that."

"Like what?"

"Softly. Teasingly. It just makes me want more."

I look straight ahead as he looks at me when he says 'more'.

"I-" He looks away.

We go silent the rest of the way.

I settle Grayson back into his room.
It's late already.
Darkness already fills the night sky.
I get him some pajama pants and shirt.
"Sit up on the edge for me."
He does.
I place my hands on the buttons of his shirt.
I glance up to find his eyes on me.
"What?"
"You're just so beautiful."
"Grayson." I shake my head.
I proceed to undo the buttons, I slide the shirt off.
I go to place his other shirt on, he tenses.
"Is this...am I...are you uncomfortable?" I stumble with my words.
He grabs my waist pulling me in for a kiss.
Something's different.
This kiss is different.
It's sweeter, more loving.
"That was precisely a sweet kiss." I say.
"Always making fun of me, you're never going to let that go are you?"
"Nope!" I giggle.
We lay down.
"Are you tired?" He asks.
"I am. You gave me a bit of a scare. How are you  with your arm and leg?"
"I'm sorry that I scared you but I'm okay."
I smile.
"Good night, darling." He says.
"Good night, love."
