"Oh my God!" Y/n scoffs.
"What is it, baby?" I ask.
"Where's Sarah?!"
"She's at school."
"Awh, she finally started school. When?" She says, softly smiling.
"Late February."
Her shoulders sink.
"So, close after I was kidnapped."
I walk over and hug her, placing a kiss on the crown of her head.
"It's not your fault. Oren is bringing her home right now."
"Y/n!" Sarah squeals running into Y/n's arms.
Tears fall down both their cheeks.
"I missed you." Sarah says.
"I missed you, too, sweetie." Y/n replies.
"She's so cute!" Sarah says as Y/n introduces Violet to her.
"Wanna hold her?"
Sarah squeals as Y/n motions for her to sit and places Violet on Sarah's lap.
Y/n gushes.
I smile, she's so beautiful.
"I'm going to go take shower, all I got was a small piece of soap and a bucket of cold water."
Y/n says smiling.
My heart drops.
"Please don't smile at that." I plead.
Her smile drops.
"As much as I love your smile, I don't want that to be the reason."
She slowly starts smiling again.
"I guess I have a new reason to smile, since you love it."
I shake my head, smiling.
I get our bed ready, the crib I bought for Violet right beside it.
We didn't even get to buy the crib together.
"Well hello there handsome." Y/n says as she walks out.
She stops in place, smiles so widely.
"What?" I smirk.
"You're such a great dad."
Violet lays on my chest sleeping.
She walks over placing a kiss on Violets head, and one on my lips.
"Hey, come back here." I say gently grabbing her wrist pulling her back, I kiss her more lovingly.
I pat the bed next to me.
She lays under the covers scooting closer to me.
I wrap my arm around her.
She sighs.
"What is it?"
"I just wish you could've been there when she was born." She explains.
"Me too, baby, me too. But at least we're all together now."
"I suppose you're right."
I laugh softly placing a soft kiss on her cheek as she slowly falls asleep.
