"Denzel" I said recognizing him immediately
but he didn't even look up from his phone "Get us what we need"
I turned to Ivy "Would you like to follow me to the fitting room?"
"Yes, thank you" Ivy said We made our way to the fitting room, and I left her there while I went to Meet Denzel
"Are you getting married to her?"
"Obviously," he said, rolling his eye
"Oh, congratulations" I said, pasting on a fake smile
He smiled back at me, but his smile was cold "You know, you'll never change will you?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"You actually resigned because my mother offered you money to leave me alone and you accepted it!" he yelled
"What in the world are you talking about?"
"You took my mother's money You're nothing but a gold digger!" he shouted
"I didn't accept the money" I yelled back
"A liar's mouth doesn't bleed" he spat
"I'm not lying Denzel I'm telling you the truth"
"You should respect me more!" he yelled
"I'm not going to just stand here and listen to this" I said about to storm off
"I love this" I heard Ivy's voice say behind me I turned around to see her coming out of the fitting room the dress in hand
"I'll go pay for it" Denzel said as he walked out
"The wedding is in two days" Ivy said, turning to me
"Congratulations," I said
"Would you like to come?"
but I shook my head"I'll be busy that day."
"This dress would look so good on you," she said, changing the subject
"I'm not getting married I don't need a dress," I replied
She smiled and looked at me. "Here's my card," holding out a business card. "Give me a call,"

"Why would I call her?" I asked, dropping the card in the trash I turned back to my laptop when I heard a knock. I got up to open the door and there stood Snow "Snow?" I said, surprised
"I'm not here for you I'm here for Eve," she said, rolling her eyes
"Eve," I said, stepping aside to let her in
"Hi, Snow!" Eve said, rushing to hug her
"When did you two become friends again?" I asked
"A few days ago,We're not letting you come between our friendship again," she said as they both walk away

Snow was curled up in Abigail's lap, fast asleep. "Mum," Snow said, her eyes still closed"I've been meaning to ask you: how did you get Denzel to marry Ivy?"
Abigail smiled. "Hmmm, it was just like magic,"
"Mum, did she really collect money from you to back off?" Snow asked, opening her eyes
"That's what's bothering me. She didn't take any money from me,"
Snow sat up, her eyes wide open. "Mum, why did you tell Denzel that she took money from you?"
"I just wanted him to back off,"
"Mum, that's not good enough!"
"I don't want them to be together, so I did the right thing"
"You did the wrong thing, Mum," Snow said, shaking her head
"Why are you so upset about this? I thought you didn't want them to be together?"
"Mum, that was then, Amelia has changed, and Denzel loves her"
"A gold digger will never change, Snow,"
"I'm going to tell Denzel about this!"
"Don't you dare!"
"But, Mum," Snow said

I stood at the altar, surrounded by people The wedding hall was already filled with guests I was dressed in my wedding suit, but I didn't actually want to marry Ivy I felt like I had no choice
I was still waiting for Ivy at the altar I looked at my mother and she smiled back at me Just then, the wedding planner announced "Ladies and gentlemen, please rise for the bride!"
I stood up straight and waited for Ivy to walk down the aisle Then I looked up and saw a figure standing at the end of the aisle but it wasn't Ivy
