0037. MEMORIES OF THEM
KAIA WAS FROZEN as she shook, watching as everyone rushed towards the blond all while Kaia couldn't find the strength within her to move. She felt sick, like she was going to throw up, why had he looked like that? Did she look like that when she died?
"AIDEN?!" Jessica shouted out in complete horror as her son shook violently on the ground yet Kaia couldn't move to make sure he was okay, she couldn't stop shaking.
Kaia could feel Ashlyn coming up to her, shaking her shoulder in order to get her attention, but Kaia couldn't concentrate on her, she couldn't tear her eyes away from Aiden's convulsing form. He looked so... so inhuman... Had she also looked like that? Did she also look like a... a phantom? Was there a... was there a way that they could be... changing into them? There was no way, right? They couldn't be becoming phantoms, there was no way right?
Kaia was going to throw up as blue met black once again as Aiden's head tossed back and Kaia flinched back into Ashlyn's arms.
"Kaia?" Ashlyn's voice broke through to her and Kaia reached out, gripping at Ashlyn's arms in an attempt to ground herself, but she couldn't, she felt like she was spiraling into a panic attack. "What happened? Did you get hurt again?"
"No..." Kaia muttered out, her voice shaking and Ashlyn instantly knew something was wrong but she couldn't speak out against her before a wheeze cut her off.
