Last year, my life changed like a lightning struck me, and decided everything to be different. It started with an unexpected acquaintance. I never thought I'd meet someone like you, at the most unexpected place and time. You looked confused, and so was I. But you smiled at me and the season made a major turn. I never thought I'd get to know you this much. Because you made sure every conversation would be a different adventure each night. You never settled for small talk. And I got used to that. And our little hang-out became a habit out of the blue. That balcony heard more laughter than I'd had for years. My playlist got the best of me. Because it spoke out everything that I had failed to say. And every day felt like a new story when I'm with you. Every day was a little better than yesterday. Those days with you made me more. And I thank you for that. And last year? Yes, it happened. But now it's a lifetime away.
