After Damon left us we went to Raya’s room. She had gone to the mall earlier today and got nail polish and face masks so that's a thing she's practically forcing me to do with her. I've never had my nails painted nor have I ever used a facemask so this will all be very interesting. Raya made sure she had some rags and q tips. She started on my nails and then we reversed and I did her nails. Of course I made a mess and made it look like a 5 year old did her nails. I've just never done nails before and I feel awful that I messed up her nails so bad. She made mine look absolutely perfect.

This entire time we just talked about nails and facial pores. Apparently mine are huge and my cuticles need some work. Whatever that means. Next up on the agenda is face masks that are supposed to help my huge pores.

She once again got my mask on perfectly while I on the other hand got the mask all over. I'm trying here. I've never done these things and it's hard to do with no lessons just someone judging you.

“We need to do this more often so you can learn how to do these things better,” Raya says.

“Yeah you're right” i say

We decided to take a walk because Raya noticed how terrible I was at girls night. She wanted to show me her favorite spot to go to think and just sit. It's completely dark out so to say the least i am very nervous and already ready to go home. I don't like being out after dark. My thoughts get broken by Raya speaking.

“Okay, we are here” Raya says

I stop and look around at the cliff where by and take a deep breath it is absolutely gorgeous up here. You can see all the stars and see life in the trees down below. I stare in awe. All my thoughts leave me and I feel completely relaxed. I now understand why she frequents up here.

We sit in silence for what seems like hours as we see the sun start to rise. We look at each other smiling then giggling and turn back to the sunrise. It was absolutely stunning and I couldn’t be more at peace in this moment. Hopefully today brings better luck.

After sitting in silence for a while Raya looked over at me.

“You should trap Xander in a room and make him talk to you” She says.

“If only it was that easy. I don’t want to make him anymore angrier than he already is. But I don’t know how to make him understand I thought it was the best way” I shrug

“Oh just tell him! Say it with me communication” She shouts, slapping me on my arm.

“Do you think it’ll work?” I look over at her

“It works with me and Damon. It’s better to force him to talk to you than to just continue ignoring each other. My brother is hard headed but if he wants something to work and truly wants someone happy he would go to the ends of the world for you” she smiles reassuring me

“Okay maybe I should. his office, maybe?” I shrug

“No do it in the bedroom so that you can have hot make up sex” she winks

“Oh goodness, I’m still not ready for all that.”

“Just wait until you have your first heat” she giggles

I look at her “what the fuck is a heat”

She laughs harder “It’s pretty much when your wolf goes into a frenzy and sends off a whole bunch of hormones to make all non-mated male wolves go crazy. You won’t have a choice but to do the deed. Unless you hide far away for a week but I’m sure Xander wouldn’t let you out of his sight. His wolf sure won't” she winks

I throw myself on the ground dramatically. “Oh god”

“Let’s get going inside for breakfast”

“Wait I have a question, i've been meaning to ask it for a while now” I look at her

“Yeah? You can ask me anything” She smiles reassuringly.

“Remember when I ate with everyone in the dining hall? Why did everyone wait until I took the first bite? I ask

She giggles “It's a respect thing and has been that way for decades. The luna must always take a bite first before anyone else eats so we can make sure out luna is eating” She wiggles her eyebrows

I nod and get up slowly, “I guess that makes sense” I laugh “Lets go get some food” I say

We slowly walk back in total comfortable silence.
