She walks through life with eyes wide open
Seeing all the beauty and all the pain
But she keeps her lips tightly shut
For fear of the words that may bring rain
She sees the broken hearts and shattered dreams
The silent cries and unspoken screams
But she keeps her thoughts locked inside
For fear of the hurt that they may bring
She watches as others speak their mind
With confidence and ease they let their thoughts unwind
But she stays quiet her thoughts on rewind
For fear of being judged forever
