Because Of Her

Her hair was dark brown and beautiful.

It was the kind of brown that , in the sunlight, almost looked maroon. She always was an odd character but I think thats what made me love her so much. The fact that she wasn't afraid to be herself.

Most people cower at the thought of opening up. They don't personally see it a lot of the times, and might just deny it if they do...but she never had that problem.

She taught me that maybe there is more to life than what meets the eye. That the human race, such a minuet species compared to the rest of the galaxy, is nothing.

We are nothing. A speck of sand on a beach stretching on for miles and miles.

And thats why we have to be ourselves. Just try not to be like everyone else, when you could be that one speck of sand that is as colorful as a fruity pebble wedged into a kaleidoscope.

....She taught me how to live with my mind wide open. How to see the unseen and suck the marrow out of life. Because of her, I am who I am today....and that has made all the difference.
