12: THE COMPETITION AND TAEKOOK'S FIRST KISS?

One week later...

Taehyung's POV

We practiced our performance before the competition starts, since it starts at 6 in the afternoon, but it's only 1:30, so we all decided to take a break. We were sweaty so me, Jimin hyung and Seokjin hyung asked Kahashi hyung to bring us spare clothes and some food and water while Jungkook and the others had spare clothes in their bags. Once Kahashi hyung arrived at our school, students started drooling and squealing when they saw him, which made Hoseok hyung jealous.

"Hobi! Sunshine! Please talk to me~" Kahashi hyung whines and me, Jimin hyung and Seokjin hyung all stared at him with blank expressions on our faces

"Why don't you talk to those students who you keep on flirting with" Hoseok hyung says with a huff

"But I didn't flirt with them! Please sunshine~" Kahashi hyung says and Hoseok hyung just continued to ignore him, making my brother whine more

"Is he really the Alpha and King of our pack?" Jimin asks and both me and my other brother just shrugged our shoulders

"I don't even know anymore Minnie..." Seokjin hyung replies and I just turned the other way

I looked at Jungkook and quickly looked away, a blush forming on my cheeks when I saw Jungkook changing his shirt. I know I already saw him shirtless before, but I remembered when I saw his 6 pa– no, 8 pack.

I glanced at him once more and blushed even brighter when I saw him looking at me, good thing Namjoon hyung said that we're gonna practice once more– but then I remembered that I have parts of the dance where me and Jungkook will make eye contact, fuck– not ready for that.

It was the day of the competition, there were so many people that came to see and watch groups from different schools. When we got to the back of the stage, one of the staff told us that our group would be performing last– which kind of made me relieved?

Me and the others watched as the group from Seijin Academy called iKON, and to say that their performance was impressive.

We all watched as they ended their performance before bowing towards the crowd and heading towards us with smirks on their faces.

"Goodluck on beating that" one says as the others snickered before leaving but one remained and turned towards me with a small smile

"Please don't mind them, and good luck!" He says before following his group

"Thanks" I whispered towards the other who already left before smirking, "And trust us, we will" I said in my deep voice that can make anyone flinch

"Now guys, please listen, this is just a competition, it doesn't matter whether we win or lose, as long as we did our best and we have fun! Alright!" Namjoon said and we all put our hands together

"Now who are we?" Namjoon asked

"BTS!!!" We all yelled

And we were backstage waiting for the speaker to announce our band name, then I felt a tap on my shoulder and saw Jungkook.
