I LET OUT a huge yawn as I leisurely walked towards the school along with the other students. It was still early morning and yet, my body had never been so damn tired already. I guessed I really can't integrate between student council duties and working at my grandma's cafe at the same time, huh.

If only there was someone who could at least willingly share this heavy workload with me, my life would be so much easier. The pressure and the stress it put on my body were making me pretty much exhausted. Ugh. Seriously. What a pain in the butt.

I remembered again that particular incident at the cafe with those ugly rude-ass hooligans and that blonde guy, Mikey. Honestly speaking, I can't actually get his image off my mind. I don't know why but there was something more to him than meets the eye. Surely, the guy was nice enough to protect me and Sakura-san from those scumbags but at the same time, he somewhat had this intimidating aura around him. He might be kind but that look in his pitch-black eyes when we made eye contact was telling me otherwise.

It was as if he was pulling me down into an endless spiral that if I go much deeper I may not be able to get out anymore. There was this unforeseen darkness hiding within him. For the first time in my life, I got goosebumps. My gut was telling me to stay the hell away from him.

There goes a saying, 'curiosity killed the cat'.

But I won't allow this curiosity to get my ass dragged into whatever shit that guy has. He was a delinquent, after all. And truth to be told, I hate their kind to the deepest core. They did nothing but install fear and cause mayhem in society. For me, they all spelled danger.

It was also been three days since our last encounter.

I just prayed to the heavens that I'll never see his face or any of them as long as I live. Please don't make them visit my grandma's cafe while I'm in there. Or it would be much better if they will never set their foot at the place ever again.

( . . . )

On the contrary, my prayer wasn't answered.

I spoke too soon.

I assure you it was no ordinary circumstances.

Because coincidentally or not, we met AGAIN. And not just him, Mr. Blondie Beanpole was with him too. The two of them were at my school one summer morning and even had the audacity to beat the shit out of our third-year students.

Their visit became one of my worst nightmares.

What's even worse was I just figured out the very same day that they actually belonged to Takemichi's little circle of gang friends. That punk. Like, why? What? Where? When in the fucking world did that happen?!?

How come I did not even know this?!?

Hinata didn't mention any of them in our conversations. Perhaps, she also had no clue of them being his friends? But wasn't she that dork's girlfriend?
