"DO YOU mind showing me around, Amamiya-san?"

I spared a look at the new kid sitting behind me who introduced himself earlier in front of the class as Hanemiya Kazutora. It was now noontime break and all our classmates already went to the cafeteria to have their lunches. He, Keiko, and I were the only ones left inside the classroom.

I was about to refuse him politely when Keiko butted into our talk and smiled radiantly at him. "Of course, she would love to, Hanemiya-kun! Right, Y/N?"

I snapped my head at her and contorted my face into a scowl. This bitch. "What the heck are you trying to do, Keiko?!" I whispered-shout at her that only the two of us can be heard.

Keiko feigned to be naive and her smile didn't waver. She patted me on the shoulder. "Relax, Y/N. I only wanted to help the poor boy. Isn't it part of our responsibilities as members of the Student Council to help our schoolmates to the best of our capabilities? Here's our chance," she stated coolly. "Besides, don't you find him attractive?"

I squinted my eyes at her. How dared she lecture me about Student Council duties when she couldn't even fulfill them herself? I scoffed in ridicule. "Whether he is good-looking or not, I don't want to entertain him who doesn't even follow our school's protocol."

She frowned at me. "But aren't you a little curious about him? I could see he's also a delinquent just like our boyfriends. And he seems harmless. He looks aloof to me."

I threw a glance at Hanemiya who was still waiting patiently for my answer and then, shifted back to Keiko. I was met with her pleading eyes and dropped a sweat, making me only breathe an exasperated sigh. "Fine, whatever. But, we should also have our lunch first. I don't want to attend afternoon classes with an empty stomach."

Both of their faces lit up in delight.

"Thank you, Amamiya-san," said Hanemiya gratefully with a closed-eyed smile.

After we finished our lunch at the cafeteria, we started touring Hanemiya around the school. Keiko did most of the friendly talk with him since I wasn't much of a talker and only stayed quiet the entire time. I would mostly check out my flip phone to see Mikey's messages flooding my inbox. This guy wouldn't leave me alone for a second unless I sent him a reply.

"You're a delinquent, aren't you Hanemiya-kun?" asked Keiko bluntly as we were now heading our way back to our classroom. "Are you a part of any gang?"

Hanemiya let out a short laugh and shrugged. "Yup, you could say that. I'm a member of a gang named 'Valhalla'," he answered but his attention was focused on me instead of Keiko. Why was he looking at me like that?

Keiko's eyes were sparkling in keen interest. "Oh, wow! Though, I never heard that name around in Shibuya before."

"That's because we're just a newly formed gang," he simply stated. His gaze was now on my brunette friend. "You seem to be knowledgeable about gangs, Makino-san."
