"Melody!" Scott whisper yelled catching Mel's attention as she sat down in Mr.Harris's class dreading another day with the teacher who seemed to now hate her and since Isaac Lahey was now not a person of interest it looked like Melody would finally have an actual lab partner.

"Oh, hey Scott." Melody stopped turning around seeing Scott's panicked look.

"Derek is not gonna kill her without proof." Scott whispered back to a freaking out Stiles.

"Wait kill? What's wrong?" Mel frowned furrowing her brows at the pair.

"We think Derek thinks Lydia is the Kanima." Scott answered before looking to Stiles.

"All right, so he tests her like he did with Jackson, right? But when and where?" Stiles said trying to force down his panic.

"I think here and now." Scott gulped looking to the front of the class room where Issac Lahey and Erica Reyes sauntered in, faces both plastered with smirks as they took in the class. Melody couldn't help but grimace at the matching leather jackets they sported as she quickly glanced over before turning back to the boys.

"Melody, keep an eye on Lydia. She's not the kanima, they will kill her." Stiles whispered urgently before Harris started talking interrupting them.

Melody stopped short, Derek wouldn't actually kill the girl would he? The soft guy she talked to in the woods definitely didn't seem like the type but maybe the alpha male act wasn't just an act.

"Einstein once said, "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; And I'm not sure about the universe." I myself have encountered infinite stupidity. So to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments." Mr.Harris explained starting the lesson as Issac sat down beside Melody and took her in not even bothering to listen to the cranky chemistry teacher.
