{taken from one of the many notebooks lying around my bedroom}
{I think it's from like eighth grade}
{I'll shut up and let you read now}You were the first shot
I thought I had at something
more than what I could give
myself, so I opened up to you
only to have you steal away my
heart and smash it into a
million pieces.When I tried to pick up the
shards to put them back
together again and return to
you with shaking fingers and
red-tinted eyes, I realized after
all the cuts and blood that you
never wanted it anyway.
