"I hope your still not mad at me?" He asked referring to the way he reacted to the April situation.
I shrugged. I was low-key not mad but I didn't want him to think he was easily forgiven.
"I promise I'll make it up to you. How about a dance? Huh?" He took our linked hands and kissed my knuckles, softly caressing that stop. My stomach dropped and butterflies began to flutter, sweet Jesus if he keeps doing stuff like this all night I will be putty in his hands.
When we arrived at the gate, there were many flashing cameras as we were escorted to the front door on a red carpet.

Then the concierge pushed the door open allowing us to follow him to the left of the ballroom, and down the main stairs where students from our school and guests were already taking photos. Trent, Jordan, Mel and I lined up behind the red rope.
When it was our turn I took a few photos with Trent but manly by myself, showing off the front and the back of my dress.
