I stood outside the door until I was interrupted by a nurse.
"Excuse me miss, are you ok you've been standing here for a while."
"Yeah. I'm fine."
She handed me some tissues.
"Did anyone ever tell you, it's not good for pretty girls to cry?"
I didn't even know I was crying.
"Yeah my mom did, all the time before she died."
"Oh no. How'd she died?"
"Cancer."
"Oh baby I'm sorry."
She gave me a hug.
"Yup in this exact room."
"Oh wow. Who's in there now, if you don't mind me asking."
"A good family friend."
"Oh. Well look on the bright side things will get better."
"Yup. Thanks again for the tissue, and conversation."
"No problem."
She looked at me a little longer then ran off to another nurse that was calling her.
"Bye Ms thang I'll see you again."
She said while walking away.
I got myself together, and then knocked on her door before walking in.
Once I walked in there was a man and a women, sitting around Ms. Renee.
"I'm sorry for interrupting. I'll come back when your done."
"No come on in baby."
"You sure?"
"Positive."
"Ok."
I walked all the way in the room and sat on the couch by the window and took Terrell out since he starting whining.
"Bring me my baby girl."
"Ok. But first let me make him a bottle."
"Ok."
I took the things out his diaper bag to make him a bottle. Once I was done I got up and handled him to Ms. Renee.
I felt eyes on me and someone cleared there throat."I'm sorry for being rude. My name is Rain and you guys are?"
The girl looked at me with a stank face, and ignored me. I looked at her and realized she was Tiffany ain't this bout a bitch.
"Well ok then, and how about you sir?"
"I'm Shamar Moore, Mrs. Daniels attorney."
