Consistent update schedule? Couldn't be me

You technically still had the rest of the day lest, but you took the time to stay in your room and recover from everything that just happened.

And also to think a little about it.

It was hard to forget how it felt when Jungkook was so close to you on the sofa. It would've been a lie to say that it wouldn't be nice to have someone who acted like that.

Too bad he was an asshole that only cared about his reputation.

In the evening, someone knocked on your door.

You put your laptop aside and stood up to open it.

Jungkook was standing in front of you in a pair of grey sweatpants and a black T-shirt.

"I... I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Sure, what is it?"

He put a hand on the back of his neck. "I just got an E-Mail."

For a second, you were fearing an article exposing everything.

"Do you remember the business rival I told you about? He contacted me."

You gestured him to go on, not having a clue what he wanted to say.

"I don't know if he either saw what's going on between us and everything went better than planned or if he just got persuaded to do this, but he wants to rethink a business contract."

"And this means that-"

"This means that he doesn't think of me as irresponsible and childish."

See? He only cared about his reputation.

"I was thinking about what I said earlier. About the honeymoon."

He could call it off. Now that he has what he wanted, it doesn't really matter what his parents think about everything.

"I think it would be a good idea to extend the contract again. The honeymoon would be everything he needs to see that I'm not just responsible when it comes to business."

What?

He can't just ask you to keep this up for longer. In the end, you were right about him wanting to extend the contract.

"A honeymoon means I'll be two weeks away from everywhere."

Away from Hoseok.

Away from your family.

There would be no one there you could go to if something happens.

But then again, it was only for two weeks, what could happen?

"It was just an idea. Please think about it."

You weren't going to say no right away.

But you were also afraid that something might happen if you said yes.

Something like you catching feelings.

"I will. Is there anything else you need or...?"

He fidgeted with his sleeve for a moment, as if deciding whether he should say it.

"Actually yes. I'm not going to be home tomorrow, but I wanted to ask you if you wanted to grab dinner when I'm back?"

"Mhm. Sure, why not?", you answered.

He will probably take you someplace with lots of people so he can put you on display like a little toy. The people get what they want. Until he gets tired and you get divorced.

Maybe his business rival was right all along.

Maybe Jeon Jungkook was wrong and you should've never agreed to his offer.

You regretted your thought the moment he gave you a big smile and mumbled something that sounded like 'That's great, see you tomorrow' before turning around and going back to his room.

You closed the door with a sigh.

You could end in a complete crossfire if anything goes wrong. This not only includes your reputation but also Hoseok's. The people would twist the rumors and you would be on the receiving end.

What have you gotten yourself into?
