⪻Poem #48⪼

It's you I always knew
More than I do to myself,
You shake me up whenever you feel so sad,
It makes me wanna give you a hug.

It's like my lips are tightly lid,
I can't pour out my words of affection,
To drive away the blue on your angry-paralyzed face,
I just wanna let you stay.

Because, sometimes, it feels like you're moving somewhere far, far away,
Leaving us - your family behind,
When you have enough,
Because no one can touch and feel your spiky love.

I'm always here for you,
But I'm also a coward just like you do,
We're both afraid to show affection,
Though we'll never be able to live happily this way.
