"that took you ages" topper remarked raising a eye brow at me
"yeah- uhm" i said blushing, remembering seeing rafe in a towel
"she was just being stubborn" rafe said saving me
"yeah" i said breathing a sigh of relief
"cmon then we are gonna beat your asses" sarah said laughing, climbing onto toppers shoulders
i stood by the edge of the pool not wanting to get into the cold water. but then i felt a pair of warm hands gently touch my back, the hands didn't move for about five seconds they just stayed on my back. i looked behind me, it was rafe. as i turned around and saw that he was the one with his hands on my back and he saw that i saw him, he quickly snapped out of whatever he was thinking and pushed me into the pool.
"rafe" i screamed splashing into the water
he just laughed at me and then jumped in the water after me.
"well then y/n, get on rafes shoulders" topper said grinning at us
i nodded at topper and then attempted to get on rafes shoulders, but i was too short as rafe was like 6' something and i was like 5'5
"fucks sake" i said laughing
"your so short" rafe said mocking me in a cute way
i lightly slapped him. he flinched in a sarcastic way and then lifted me up onto his shoulders.
"let's go y/n" rafe said declaring we start the game
me and sarah started battling eachother from on top of the boys shoulders, i got a hold of her shoulders and threw her off of topper.
"yayyy" rafe said lifting me down from his shoulders, but when we reached the water he didn't let me go he kept on holding me.
"we won" i said turning around to smile at rafe, i was mostly smiling because he was still holding me
"rafe, let her go" sarah said suspiciously
"oh right yeah" rafe said blushing, he let me go and then ran his hand through his jelled hair
time skip 2 hours~
we had been fooling around in the pool for ages after a while i decided to give rafe my phone to take a picture of me and sarah for my instagram.
