i smiled again slightly and turned around to face the pair sitting in the chair next to my hospital bed.
"do you want to hold her?" rafe asked nervously
"yeah" i whispered looking at her
"here you go" he said proudly looking at his daughter and handing her to me
"you need a name don't you" i said touching her nose
"what do you think?" he asked looking me in the eyes which made my heart melt but he couldn't know that right now so i looked away
"isla" i said grinning, a smile flashed across rafes face as i said the name
"it's perfect like her" he said
"yeah" i whispered because she had fallen asleep
"y/n we need to talk about-" rafe said, he tried to finish his sentence but i interrupted him because i really didn't want to discuss what happened earlier right now
"hold her so i can get a picture" i murmured looking down at my lap
"ok" he said sadly and took isla from my arms
i took a picture of the pair and posted it on my private instagram therefore my parents wouldn't see.

"you gave her my sirname?" he asked shocked as he read the instagram post
"of course i did, just because we aren't exactly on the best terms that doesn't mean that your not apart of her life" i laughed
"oh" he said looking down at his hands which made me feel guilty for saying we weren't on the best terms
"yeah" i said, realising how awkward this conversation had gotten
i pulled out my phone again to avoid having to talk to rafe, i immediately called sarah to tell her to come in and see the baby. i heard a scream from outside when i told her and i heard her footsteps sprinting towards our hospital room which made me giggle.
"THE BABYS HERE?" she screamed as she ran in
"yes calm down" me and rafe said in sync which caused us to look at eachother and blush awkwardly
"what happened why are you screaming?" topper asked sarah as he entered the room
"look" sarah whispered pointing at rafe who was still holding her
"oh my god can i hold him" topper asked walking over to
"it's a she not a he" rafe said smiling slightly at isla
"what's her name" sarah asked, coming over to me
"isla" i said proudly
"she's so cute she looks like a prettier version of you rafe" topper said laughing
"thanks man, thanks a lot" rafe said sarcastically
"she is rather beautiful though isn't she" sarah said
