To fight aloud is brave,
but fight nationwide is even braver.
Silenced.
Pinned down by the devil's ignorance,
they breathe dreams,
dreams of which they are no longer bounded by chains.
Chains of stereotypes, labeling, and profiling.

For too long, the faucet has been running,
their words have gone unheard,
and the timer on the nuclear bomb has run out.
A warhorse cries, and a horn is blown.
They fight for freedom,
and to end those judging them by their golden complexion.

A fixable wall with memories that still haunt.
An unfixable scratch on the glass.
They do not seek your forgiveness,
but your understandment.
The understandment of how they have failed to be protected,
and how the blue pierced their hearts with lead.

They breathe dreams indeed,
dreams that are still longing for breath.
Chains will be broken
with freedom at last.
No side will escape without blood on their hands,
but only one side will win.
