Science Fiction / Short story: A few years into the future and General Electric has taken over administration of cities leading to a drop in crime. Even the GE police however are struggling to find a piece of equipment stolen from an experimental dermatologist. Detective Stanley is sent in to try and extract some information from the eccentric Dr. Romanov and his more grounded assistant.
Will he manage to track down the thief or will he come to realise that appearance truly is only Skin Deep?
- I believe each word in story is pure gold. A little bit of humor, a little bit of mystery, a little bit of suspense- this is a story that can be enjoyed and appreciated by fans of every genre! I was blown away by the tiny details in this story. The author describes the scientific setting perfectly, without having to delve deep into jargon. And what a twist at the end! I'd read it a thousand times and never be bored. (rrwarrier)
