𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝑆𝐶𝐻𝑂𝑂𝐿 𝑊𝐴𝑆 𝑆𝐴𝐹𝐸 and the police had arrived. Allison, Jackson, Isaac and Lydia had all been or already had talked to cops and now it was Scott, Stiles and Juno who were talking to Stiles's dad.
"You sure it was Derek Hale?" He asked skeptically. "Yes."
"I saw him too." Stiles backed up. Both him and Juno had been telling Sheriff Stilinski about everything they saw and it seemed to be fairly hard to believe.
"Did you find the janitor?" Juno asked, desperately wanting the dead body out of the school by tomorrow. "We're still looking."
"Well, did you check under the bleachers?" Stiles questioned, still horrified by the image of the dead man. His father only sighed. "Yeah, Stiles, we looked. We pulled them out, just like you asked. There's nothing."
"We're not making this up." Juno spoke defensively, seeing that Stiles's father was more pitying them than believing them. "I know. I believe you guys, I do."
"No, you don't." Scott sadly corrected. "You have this look like you feel bad for us. Like you wanna believe us, but we know you don't."
"Listen. We're gonna search this entire school. We're gonna find him, okay? I promise." Suddenly, one of the sheriff's deputies called him over. "Stay here. All three of you."
Scott let out a sigh as Juno sat on top of the railing just before the stairs, Stiles leaning against it right next to her. He was really the only one that could find some positivity in this scenario. "Well, we survived! You know? We outlasted the Alpha. It's still good, right? Being alive?"
"When we were in the chemistry room, he walked right by us." Scott pointed out. "You don't think it heard us? You don't think it knew exactly where we were?"
"And when it got a hold of you in the gym, it had plenty time to kill you before I got there." Juno added on, adding more strength to Scott's point. It only created questions. "Well, then how come we're still alive?"
