Today everybody was supposed to be coming over, including my cousin, so they could meet her so I decided to cook Sunday dinner for everyone, with assistance from my momma and mother in law. My morning was actually going pretty good until me and dre decided to get a quickie in this morning and Gigi decides out of all mornings that this would be the perfect morning to wake up early as hell.
Although she didn't really see much because luckily we were under covers and she stuck her head in long enough to say good morning but still... I was embarrassed as hell.
"Im officially scarred for life" I told dre as I cleaned up the mess I made while preparing the macaroni.
"Stop freaking out, we good"
"Dre, imagine if we wasn't undercovers. Her eyes would be BLEEDING right now. I don't see how you so calm about this. What if she would've saw something"
"One thing you know is Gigi gone speak up or ask questions. She ain saw nothing but us having a very close conversation" he said while making a childish ass face as he looked me up and down so I pushed him away from me.
"Get out my face. And stop eating my son applesauce"
"These lil pouches good as hell."
"I know. Thats why I brought the bigger box of em this time cause I ate most of the other ones last time" I told him as I turned my head, scratching my neck
"And you talkin bout me"
"This aint about me"
"Excuse me, mommy" Gigi said as she walked into the kitchen and we both looked at her
"Whats wrong?"
"What time your cousin coming?" She asked while playing with the bow on the bottom of one of her plaits.
"She should be here any minute"
"Well what about my cousin?" Gigi then asked as Gio walked into the kitchen too with his own applesauce pouch in his hands
I looked at him then at Dre, frowning up my face. This boy looked too much like his damn daddy and it makes me sick.
"Which cousin?" Dre asked her
She swung her leg a little, thinking as she tapped her chin
"Ummmm. All of them?"
"Ion know about all of em but I know a good bit of em coming"
"YaY! I gotta go clean my room. Ill be back daddy" She said before running off and of course her little shadow followed right behind his big sister
The sound of somebody knocking on the door then caught our attention and Dre looked at me
"As you can tell, you the only person worried about this morning"
"Well you acting like you used to people walking in on you"
"Nah. I just know when a child see something they not supposed to see. From experience."
"You walked in on yo momma doing it?" I asked, amused a little and he shook his head
"Ion wanna talk about it"
I laughed while walking to the door and opened it seeing that it was my cousin Daysia. I smiled before giving her a hug
