It was finally time to get this wedding started and if Ana wasn't freaking out before, she most definitely was freaking out now. Her hands were shaky and she could not stay still, sounding like she needed to breathe.
"Ana ima need you to relax before you hyperventilate or something" I told her as I fanned her
"I don't even know why im nervous right now.... Is Dre here?"
"Yeah. We wouldn't be getting ready to start if he wasn't"
"Oh my gosh, its about to start. Why did I let him talk me into doing this. I hate himmm"
She grabbed onto my arm and looked me dead in my face and I could tell that my best friend was genuinely nervous as hell right now.
"Im not gonna tell you to not be nervous right now because its impossible to not be. But I can promise you its gonna be fine. Dre is in there waiting on you, you look beautiful, you're gonna walk in there say your vows and after that you finally married and you get to show out for the rest of the day. This morning might've had a couple of bumps but the rest of the day is gonna be perfect"
She didn't fully let go of my arm but she did eventually loosen her grip some
Music then started and all of the girls looked back at Ana and the look on her face was priceless. This was the first time Ive seen this shit-talking best friend of mine speechless
"Yall stop looking at her!" I told them while the doors opened.
One by one each bridemaid walked out and when it was emoni turn she looked back at Ana
"See you on the other side girl!" She jokingly said which made Ana eventually crack a small laugh
"Alright now. You gotta let me go so I can go ahead or im stuck back here until after the wedding" I told her and she let go of my arm
"My bad"
"You got this best friend... just don't think to hard while walking or you really gone trip" I snuck the last part in before walking off from her hearing her talk her shit.
As I walked my way through I could see Dre standing at the front looking just as nervous as Ana which was adorable lowkey.
And standing beside him was of course my man looking fine as hell all dressed up. When me and Darius made eye contact he licked his lips before flashing a smile
I took my spot at the front and finally it was time for Ana. In walked Gigi as the flower girl and she did such a good job up and she made it to the end then saw her daddy, smiling hard as hell
"You look niceeee Daddy" she said all loud making everybody laugh
"Thank you babygirl"
She then went to take her seat with Dre's and Ana's momma, who was holding Gio, who fell asleep again. I could also hear her as she asked for candy for doing a good job throwing out the flower petals which made me laugh
Then FINALLY my best friend walked out. The second she stepped out, no lie, I could feel myself tear up.
Ana looked soooo beautiful. Her mermaid style wedding dress with all of that tulle at the bottom matched her personality perfectly. Just as extra as she was. Her makeup was flawless and her hair was so perfect on her.
Ana and Dre immediately locked eyes and I honestly don't know which one I loved more, the big ass smile on his face or the way he looked at her with a little buildup of tears in his eyes.
