In a stroke of brilliance, Taehyung noticed an old, hidden latch on the library door. Rather than resorting to lock-picking, he carefully manipulated the latch, unlocking the door with a subtle twist. As the door creaked open, Taehyung and Jungkook were met with the faint glow of the mansion's corridor.

With a triumphant smile, Taehyung gestured for Jungkook to exit first. The dimly lit library, once a sanctuary of uncertainty, as Jungkook, having injured his leg earlier, found it difficult to walk. Taehyung, quick to notice, decided to take Jungkook in a bridal style. As they stepped into the familiar surroundings of the mansion, they were finally out of that library.

They finally emerged from that library. Taehyung, recognizing Jungkook's discomfort, gently scooped him up in his arms, embracing him in a bridal carry. With each step, Taehyung's careful movements ensured Jungkook's comfort.

Upon reaching his room, Taehyung placed Jungkook on the bed and examined his slightly injured leg. However, Jungkook felt his breath catch as he observed the anger in Taehyung's eyes, an anger that Taehyung was struggling to control. In a demanding voice, Taehyung asked, "Who told you to go there, huh?"

Jungkook, overwhelmed with guilt and fear, stammered out an explanation. "I-I was just exploring, hyung. I didn't mean to get stuck."

Taehyung, still simmering with controlled anger, sighed and softened his tone. "Oh, my life. Why do you always bring trouble for me? What if something had happened to you? Huh? Can you imagine the situation, love?"

Jungkook, looking down, nodded silently, regretting his impulsive decision.

Taehyung, sensing Jungkook's remorse, decided to ease the tension. "Alright, let's not dwell on it. Just promise me you'll be more careful next time, okay?"

Jungkook, looking up with a nod, asked, "Hm, hyung?"

Taehyung, still concerned, ruffled Jungkook's hair gently. "Yes, Taehyung's love?"

Jungkook, looking into Taehyung's eyes, asked, "I've got a vacation for 1 week. Can I go home to see my parents? I miss them."

Taehyung, sensing Jungkook's earnest desire, couldn't bring himself to say no. He replied, "Sure, you can go for however you want."

Jungkook hesitated before saying, "For the full 1 week..."

As Jungkook expressed his plans, Taehyung couldn't help but think, "Whaaattt  a whole week? I can't even sleep a day without you. One entire week will be the death of me doll."

Taehyung, suppressing his inner reluctance, managed a reassuring smile. "Alright, a week it is. Spend time with your parents and recharge. But you have to keep in touch."

Jungkook's eyes lit up with gratitude, and he nodded. "Hm, hyung. I'll keep in touch."

As Taehyung brought the box for treating Jungkook's injured leg, he swiftly tended to it. As the night settled in, realizing they hadn't had dinner, Taehyung suggested, "Come now, let's have dinner. Tomorrow, I'll drop you off at your parents' house. After eating, you can pack your things."

Jungkook nodded and followed him to the dining area. The atmosphere remained silent as they sat down for dinner. After finishing their meal, they both retired to their rooms. Taehyung lay on the bed while Jungkook began packing his things into his luggage. Although Taehyung pretended to be engrossed in his phone, his eyes were discreetly fixed on Jungkook's every move.
