"Yes Spring, Ill come see you today" i said to my little sister over the phone.
"Okay, you have work?" she asked me.
"Yep im pulling up now, ill call you later k?"
"okay love you" she said
"love you too" i said and hung up.
I walked into my job and unlocked the door to my space i work in.
I had two full sets and 3 sets of lashes to do today.
My first client was at 9 so i wiped my desk down and disinfected everything.
i turned on my r&b playlist and waited for her to arrive.
"Hey Sparkle" my client walked in and went to go wash her hands which is apart of my protocol.
"Hey Shya, how are you?" i asked her.
"im good"
She was getting a Short white set so it wouldn't take me long.
"Can you put an initial on my ring finger?"
"of course, it's gonna be an extra 2 tho" i said and she nodded.
After 45 minutes i was done.
"Alright Shy it's gonna be your usual 35 plus the 2 so 37" i said.
She gave me 50 and i crossed her off my list.
"Thanks Sparkle, see you in 2 weeks" she said and left.
I disinfected my area and my next client showed up 5 minutes later.
"Sparkkk your fav is here" he dragged.
"Hiiii Chase" i said and hugged him.
Chase was my favorite client because he always got long, extravagant nails and payed me goodt.
"Sis, i had to take all my nails off cause i had to fight a nigga" he rolled his eyes and sat down after washing his hands.
"Lord" i shook my head.
He was getting a Long blinged out set so it was gon take about a good hour and some change.
"What you been up to lately" he asked me as i shaped his nails.
"Shit, working and staying out the way" i told him.
"Same girl"
"These might be my favorite nails i've done on you so far" i said.
He was getting a baby blue color with lots of diamonds and charms.
We were finally done after an hour and 15 minutes.
"Okay bae $130, the usual" i told him and crossed him off my list.
He gave me $210 and i didn't even try to give him change cause he never takes it.
"Thanks boo, i love you forever" he said giving me a hug.
"Love you too fave" i said and he left.
I again disinfected my area and went to wipe down the lash station.
I waited for my first lash client to come and she was a no call no show, so after crossing her off my list and charging her the full cost of her set which was $110, i took my lunch.
I drove to Steak 'n shake and got a cheeseburger and fries. I had a sprite from earlier that i hadn't opened yet.
I sat in the parking lot and ate before going back to work after 20 minutes.
My next client was in 15 minutes so i set out everything i would need for her set.
She showed up a couple minutes early and we immediately got to work.
Her set took about an hour and a half and i got $140 from that.
My last client of the day took about another hour and a half and i got $110 from that.
I cleaned up my whole room and payed my $15 house fee.
I locked my door and headed out for the day.
I sat in my car and calculated my earnings for today.
After the house fee i earned 605 dollars in one day.
I called my sister to let her know i was on the way.
I didn't plan on being over there for long because i wanted to take a nap.
