Sparkle aka Spark

"Spring! I'm here!" i yelled walking into my parents house.

She ran down the stairs and hugged me.

"I missed you Spark"

"I missed you too, where's Mom and Dad?" I asked her.

"Mom is out with Aunt Carmen shopping and Dad is somewhere, i don't know" she said.

"Oh, your birthdays coming up i can't believe you're gonna be 14" i said sitting down on the couch with her.

"I know im excited"

"you need to tell me what you want for it"

"I want to hang out with you and i want some new shoes and clothes" she said. 

"Okay i can make that happen"

"Can i come to your house i don't wanna be here by myself" she asked me.

"Of course go get your stuff and tell mom"

"Okay" she jumped up and went upstairs to get her things.

I scrolled on Instagram and waited about 5 minutes before she came downstairs with her stuff.

"Ready Springy?"

"Yep let's go" we left and locked the door behind us.

"You got snacks at your house?"

"Always" i said and connected my aux and played Jhene Aiko.

I was singing 'Triggered' when my music got interrupted by a phone call from Aamira.

"Hello?" i answered

"Heyy what you doin?" her loud ass voice came through my car speakers

"Just picked up Spring, what you doin?" i asked her

"Bored"

"don't get no ideas, i got my sister and i'm tired i been working" i said

"ughhh i was finna ask you to come to Jay's" she said and i rolled my eyes

"nope im tired"

"okay well love you call me later" she said

" alright love you too" i said and hung up.

i pulled up to the house and checked my mail before going in.

"im finna take a nap sis i'll be up later come get me if you need me" i said and went into my room.

I took my clothes off and took a quick shower before putting on a shirt and getting into bed.

I scrolled through tiktok for a little bit before falling asleep.

I woke up and when i checked my phone it was 5:30.

i went into the living room and saw Spring asleep on the couch.

I went back into my room and went to pee before getting back in the bed.

I heard knocks on my door and told her to come in.

"Hey spark what you doin"

"Just woke up, you hungry?" i asked her as she got in the bed next to me.

"Yeah can we get pizza"

"Yes go order it you got my card info. Get a large Pepperoni and whatever you want" i told her and she went to go get her phone.

"Mom asked what time you're bringing me home" she walked back in and sat on the bed.

"Tell her after we get done eating."

I turned on a movie while we waited for the food to come.

After about 30 minutes i heard knocks on the front door so i got up to go answer.

I grabbed the food and tipped the delivery man 20 dollars

"Spring the food out here" i yelled putting it on the counter.

I put a slice of Pepperoni and a slice of Cheese on my plate along with some cheese bread and grabbed a water out the fridge

We ate and finished our movie before it was time for me to take her home.

"Ugh i don't wanna go to school tomorrow" she whined.

"And i don't wanna go to work but we have to" i said pulling out the driveway and driving towards my parents house.

We arrived shortly after and i walked her into the house.

"Hey mom, hey dad" i said to them as i walked in  

"Hey Spark"

"Hey baby"

"Bye Spring, I love you i'll call you tomorrow" i hugged her

"Bye Spark, Love you too" she said and went upstairs.

"How's work?" my mom asked me.

"It's going good" i told her.

"That's good, glad everything is working out for you" my dad chimed in and i nodded.

"I love you guys, i gotta get up early in the morning" i said to them.

"Love you too"

"Love you Spark"

I left and as soon as i got in my car i got a call from a random number.

I answered preparing to hear just about anything.

"Hello?"

"Wassup ma" a familiar voice came through the speakers.

"Who this?" i asked cause i couldn't put my finger on who it was.

"Kori"

"oh hey Kori"

"what you doin?" he asked me

"On my way home, how bout you?" i asked

"Shit chillin, come to Jay house tomorrow"

"Okay, what y'all got goin on over there?" i asked him.

"Nun, I wanna do sum tho"

"Okay, ill see you tomorrow then" i said to him.

"ight ma be safe" he said.

i replied with an okay and we hung up.

After i got home i put the left over food in the fridge and went to go do my night routine.

I washed my face and moisturized it, and brushed my teeth and water flossed.

I stripped out of my clothes and got in the bed.

i saved Koris number and set my alarm for 7 o'clock.

i scrolled through tiktok before falling asleep.
