its been a few months since Kori asked me to be his girl, and things have been rocky, but we're getting through.
Or so i hope.
"Sparkle i'm really not tryna hear nunna dat right now" kori said turning on his game
"how we gon be in a healthy relationship if we can't talk shit out Jakori?" i asked going to sit on the bed behind him.
"i'm telling you i don't know the girl. She delusional and i'm tired of talking about her" he said
"Ight we gon see" i said and left it alone.
cause at this point i'm tired of talking bout her too. we gon see.
i scrolled on tiktok for a little bit before Mira facetimed me.
"hey girl" i answered
"heyyyy" she dragged, "wyd?"
"nun bored. what you tryna get into?" i said and heard kori chuckle. i just rolled my eyes.
"You know i'm on whatever you on" Mira said
"lets go to that new bar downtown, i heard they food good" i suggested
"bet, what time?"
"Lets meet there at 7" i said checking the time and it was 5:45
"okay, love you see you there" Mira said

we hung up and i went to my closet to pick out my outfit.
I chose some blue ripped jeans and a white nike shirt, and i was just gon throw on my forces.
i started the shower and wrapped my hair up before getting in.
I showered for 15 minutes before getting out and doing my hygiene.
"this baby lotion smell so good" i said to myself as i put some on my legs and arms.
i got dressed then unwrapped my hair and ran the flat iron through it.
i put some lashes on and applied some vaseline on my lips.
i checked the time and it was 6:15 and it would take me some time to get downtown.
I put my forces on, sprayed some perfume and grabbed my phone and purse.
"i'll be back, i love you" i said to Kori
"I love you too" he said, i could tell he was irritated but ian care.
i grabbed my keys from the kitchen counter and headed out to my car.
I immediately turned the air on when i got in, it's still a lil hot outside.
I played "Always n Forever" by Mariah the Scientist ft Lil Baby and made my way downtown. • • • "Hey boo" Mira said coming to sit by me
"Heyyy" i gave her a hug
"what can i get started for y'all?" the bartender asked
"can i get a cosmopolitan" i ordered
"lemme get a strawberry margarita" Mira ordered
"so whats been up?" i asked Mira
"girl just working, you know me. tryna get this money up" she said
"you aint lying" i said
"how are you and Kori?"
"girl a bitch claiming she know him and some more. he say he don't know the girl. i just said we gon see" i said as the bartender gave us our drinks

"i would be too. shit" Mira said
"y'all ready to order?"
"yes, can i get the nachos please" i ordered and mira got the same thing.
"wassup with you and jay?" i asked her
"we good. went through the same shit last month tho, some girl was claiming to be pregnant by him" she said and my mouth dropped
"well was she??" i asked
"girl hell naw, she came out and said she was lying and only said it cause her real bd aint want the kid" she said shaking her head
"these hoes is delusional" i laughed
"enough about these niggas, girl lets get away again" she said
"you wanna take a bestie trip?" i asked
"yessss, lets go to Hawaii" she said
"shit i'm down. thats on my bucket list of places anyway" i said
"when you tryna go?"
"next month" i said
"ouuu lemme look at tickets" mira said and i laughed at her excitement
our food came shortly after and we ate and caught up some more.
"it was good seeing you girl, imma call you tomorrow. text me when you get home" i said as we left out the bar
"okay, love you" mira said
"love you too" we hugged goodbye. • • • • "Sparkle?" Kori yelled as i came in
"yeah it's me" i yelled back locking the door
"cmere" he said as i walked in the room, he was sitting on the edge of the bed
i went and stood inbetween his legs and he grabbed me by my neck and pulled me towards him for a kiss
"i love you" he said
"i love you too"
"i promise you i don't know that girl" he said
"i believe you" i said, slightly lying cause i really don't fully trust anyone.
