Sparkle aka Spark

"Spring you gotta find another ride, i got errands to run today boo" i said pulling out of work.

"Okay, Ill ask Aunt Carmen" she said and hung up.

"Moody ass teenagers" i rolled my eyes.

Her birthday was on Saturday so i had to go get her gifts today.

I had a shoe plug who put aside two pairs of Cool Grey's for us, so i let him know i was on my way.

"Hello?" i answered the incoming call from JaKori.

"What you doin today?" his loud ass voice came through the speakers

"Getting my sister's birthday gifts, what you doin?"

"Bored, come scoop me" he said

"Ight im around the corner" i said and we hung up.

I pulled up to his house like 2 minutes later and waited for him to come outside.

"What's good ma" Kori said getting in the car

"Shit, chillin" i said and he laughed.

I pulled up to the plugs house and got out and went to go knock on the door.

"wassup Spark" Brandon said letting me in

"Hey B"

"Here yo shoes, i already got yo cashapp" he handed me the boxes

"Preciate you" i dabbed him up like i was one of the niggas and walked out.

"Okay, now we gotta go to the outlet mall" i said pulling off

"who house that was?" Kori asked

"My shoe plug's"

"Mmm" he laughed

"What's funny sir?" i looked over at him

"Nun"

we pulled up to the mall 10 minutes later and first went in to Old Navy.

I grabbed her the Four pairs of Biker shorts she wanted and a few shirts she pointed out to me a couple weeks ago.

I then went to bath and body works and got her the whole Strawberry Poundcake set, from the perfume, to the lotion, to the shower gel.

She always uses mine when she comes over so now she got her own.

"Sparkle you like this smell" Kori said passing me a candle

"yea that smells good"

"im finna buy it" he said and went up to the cashier

I followed behind him because i didn't need anything else.

I decided i was just gonna give her some money so that she could buy whatever else she wanted.

"where we goin now?" Kori asked leaning his seat back

"to my house so i can put this stuff away" i said pulling out of the parking lot.

I let him connect to the aux and he played some J. Cole, along with Kendrick.

We pulled up to my house 15 minutes later

"Yo spot nice" he said looking around.

"Thank youuu" i dragged.

I put Spring's gifts in my closet and went to go sit on the couch.

"Let's watch a movie" i said getting comfortable

"Ight what you wanna watch" he said grabbing the remote.

"Baby Boy" I said

"Ight"

I grabbed snacks from the kitchen and put them on the coffee table in front of us.

"Yo ass always got chips" he laughed

"I love chips, especially them dill pickle lays"

"And i love gushers" he said picking up a pack.

the movie started and i got up to turn off the lamp.

somewhere down the line we both fell asleep because i woke up and he was slumped next to me.

"it's dark outside and shit" i mumbled

"you wanna go lay down?" i shook him awake

"yea"

we went into my room and i went to my closet to change out of my clothes

i put on some shorts and a big shirt.

He just took off his shirt and slept in his sweatpants.

"goodnight ma" he said

"goodnight" i rolled over.

next morning

I woke up and Kori wasn't next to me.

I went into my bathroom to pee and brush my teeth.

I washed my face and moisturized it.

I went out into the living room and saw him on the couch watching Friday

"Morning Spark" he said as i sat on the couch next to him

"Morning" i yawned

"Ty finna come get me i gotta go to work in an hour" he said.

"Okay"

"It was coo hanging with you yesterday" he said to me making me smile.

"I had fun wit you too" i said.

I scrolled through tiktok for a lil bit before he said Ty was outside

"See you later ma" he gave me a hug as i walked him to the door

"be safe" i said and made sure he was in the car before i shut and locked my door.

I went to go take a shower and get ready for my day.
