I dreamed of this day as a little girl.
All I could ever think about once I knew what love was.
I pictured myself up here in a beautiful white dress
Staring at a person I was destined to be with forever.
Someone to stick with me through thick and thin
To cheer me on and keep me moving
To be the person I'd wake up to every morning.
Sometimes I thought it'd never be real.
I thought that I wouldn't ever be able to be loved enough to have an extravagant event
I met you 7 years ago.
Together as a couple for 5
But engaged for 8 months.
In that time
I realized I was loved.
I was loved so dearly
And I loved you back.
Now I stand here
In front of our families that are becoming one in this moment
With tears forming at my tear ducks
I am in front of the person I vow to spend the rest of my life with.
I love you.
Thank you for being the person my little heart always dreamed of.
