family reasurance

i stalk slowly to the kitchen and sit down on the side  placing my face agaisnt the cold surface

'hey' i jump up and look ahead seeing kol pour water into a glass 'sorry didnt mean to scare you' he apologises

i smile and shake my head 'no honestly its fine' i smile holding my face in my hands to keep it steady

'did you get any sleep after i left?' he asks i smile he shakes his head and hands me a glass of water i take it and take a big gulp placing it back down on the table he sits down and smiles

'you gave me quite a scare last night' he says ' i thought you were dying' he says i trace the rim of the glass with my finger

'im sorry, my head was just filled with stuff and my dreams couldnt take it' i sigh he places his hand on mine

'well share your troubles you have to understand im here for you no matter what your a favourite of mine' he says i  smile at him as davina walks in

'morning' she says kissing kol on the cheek as she grabs a glass of water 'got a clue what the family meeting is about this morning?' she asks i shoot my head up at kol

'they want to know dont they?' i ask he nods and walks upstairs gesturing me to follow him 'dee im just going to show kira how the shower works here' he says to her she smiles

'it is different to the one back at the compound sorry im sure youll get the hang of it kira' she smiles i nod and follow kol upstairs.

'whats the plan then?' he asks  i sit on the bath side

'i dont know' i say he stands up looking at me as he turns the shower on  as he leans against the wall

'maybe we could just say you thought in your head that you wanted him to stop and then it just happened but you dont know what caused it' he suggests i shake my head

'how could i lie to them kol their family' i say he pinches the rim of his nose and looks at me

'then how do you want to play this?' he asks

'we tell them the truth' i say 'as much of it as we can without exposing them or oursleves for danger' he smiles at me

'im with you whatever you want to do but what are you going to tell them?' he asks

'that the hallucinations are caused by the hollow but im working on it, ill tell them that i can help stop theses hallucinations' i say rubbing my temples trying to figure out if this is the best way of explaining without them knowing too much

' i have an idea  of what to say but we need to get going now before the words dissapear from my mind' i say.

i walk into the compound with davina and kol as everybody is already sitting down waiting everyone including josh and marcel but no hope

'wheres hope?' i ask klaus sits up

' we dont normally involve her in this stuff' he says 'but if you need her here desperatly then ill call her down' i look back towards kol for some guidence as he smiles

'do what you think you have to do' he says i take a deep breath

'hope!' i shout 'can you come down here please!' i hear footsteps quiet slowly growing loud untill hope stands infront of me hands over her chest

'take a seat you should be involved in this as it does involve all of us' she smiles clearly happy thats shes finally been involved in something like this

They all look at me intently as i fiddle with the  back of my  nails 'so..' elijah starts ' you seem to know what happened with me yesterday and i thought you could help explain it to us all' he finishes 'in your own time of course' he quickly adds
