Hope POV

After what seemed like hours the doors opened and someone was thrown at my feet i jump looking away before one of the men speak

'I suggest when i come in here you start talking i don't think your boyfriend could survive another beating like the one we gave him'' he sneers

i look up at him confused before i see Landon laying curled up at my feet

'Landon' i say scared as the men walk out laughing

My breath becomes laboured

'Landon please answer me' i cry before nudging him softly with my foot as he doesn't respond

i push my body upwards as i try to reach my hand in my pocket as my finger reaches the top of the nail file as i strain my two fingers swiping it as i push it up in my hand as rush to position it by the keyhole of the chains

God how did his stupid movies do it i press the nail file in it twisting it rushed as it doesn't work

'Damn it' i mutter as i try twisting it again as it doesn't work as i start to get annoyed as it drops to the floor

'For gods sake' i yell as i manage to pick it up as i place it back in the lock as it doesn't budge as i hear nothing from Landon

'GOD DAMN IT!' i scream as my vision blurrs with tears

i look behind my back to my hands as tears fall down my cheek as i feel a hand on my knee

'Take....a....deep...breath' a voice hoarsly says

i turn my head seeing Landon looking at me with his eyes half open as he smiles before wincing in pain

'I cant do it' i cry 'it wont work Landon im not you i cant do this' i cry as is thumb strokes my knee

'You can Hope you can you just need to take a breath and breath' he whispers

i breath in and out looking at him as he scrunches his face up in pain

'Now place it in the lock and twist it only after you hear a click' he says before he starts taking shallow breaths before he looks at me before his eyes closing

'Landon' i say panicked before i take a deep breath twisting the key

i hear a first click...then a second then i twist it as the cuffs drop to the floor as i bring my hands from behind me to infront of me

i rub my wrists before pulling Landon onto my lap as his face is covered in bruises and cuts a tear falls down my face as i stroke his face

'Landon please come back to me' i cry as i place my head on his chest

' I love you' i whisper

i feel a hand go through my hair i look up seeing his hand on my head as i smile tears falling down my face

'I knew you could do it' he sighs i smile

i silently thank that he didnt hear me confess my love to him

'We have to get out of here' he says as i nod smiling

'I know ill figure something out' i say as he smiles weakly at me

KIRA POV

I climb through the window landing silently into an office of some kind as i see two guards standing at the door,their backs turned to me

i smirk before walking silently over as i reach my hands into their chests before crushing them in my hands as the bodies fall back

i catch them both carefully laying them on the floor as i drag them further into the room before walking out quietly closing the door before standing outside of it
