ACT II; SCENE IV
K A L O N beauty that is more than skin deep
"ARE YOU SLEEPY?" Taehyun couldn't help but look at Akemi worriedly, who was sitting on the balcony, her knees resting on the table in front of her, a moleskin journal in her lap and a blue ballpoint pen scribbling away quickly on the paper.
She looked up at his voice, a little bit confused because she was too immersed in the fantasy world. Her nose scrunched up in a cute way and Taehyun couldn't help but smile at Akemi.
"Sorry. What were you saying again?" She turned in her seat a bit to give him her full attention. One of the things Taehyun liked about Akemi was whenever someone was talking to her, she gave them their utmost attention, nodding a bit, smiling a little, answering immediately if asked something, eyes sparkling in interest if the topic was about something like liked.
"I asked are you sleepy? You seem to be yawning a lot."
She shook her head, her ponytail lightly hitting her cheeks. "No. Are you?"
"No."
She nodded, still looking at Taehyun. He gave her a soft smile. His kind gesture was with an equally gentle smile by the girl on the balcony.
"What are you writing?" Taehyun asked, leaning forward to catch a glimpse of whatever was written in her journal.
Akemi hurriedly closed the journal, hugging it to her chest. "It's nothing."
"It can't be nothing. Are you writing your novel?" He asked.
Akemi shook her head. "No. It's nothing, really."
Taehyun could tell that she didn't want to talk about it so he didn't press the matter. Instead, he asked her another question.
"Want some hot chocolate?"

NOTE: Hello, loves. Long time no chapter. I apologize for the delay. I have lost motivation to write these days. University is stressful. And I don't want to write half-arsed chapters. So this book will have sporadic updates. But I will get back on track and update this book regularly after my sort of hiatus.
