"Where are you going?"

  Remi questioned from the sofa as she saw one of the members at the door, fixing her clothes.

"Gonna buy Binnie's birthday gift."

  Annie grinned slightly.

"Oh! I'll go with you! Let me just put a better shirt on."

You look pretty already, dude.

"Yeah and put some make up on, you look like a mess!"

  She yelled from the door, sitting down to wait.

  Thirty minutes later and the girls were walking around the mall, falling in love with everything - and everyone - they saw.

"If I wasn't an idol I'd ask for his number, oh my God. He's so cute!"

  Remi stared delighted at the young man offering perfume samples.

"I thought you had a crush on Hyunjin?"

  Her friend looked down at her, eyebrows furrowed.

"It's not like I'm dating him, I can like other guys too."

  She shuggred, pulling the girl towards his store.

  As Remi attempted to flirt, Annie went inside to search for something worth gifting.

  Changbin and Annie had been celebrating their birthdays together for four years now, alternating between the 11th and 12th. Since Changbin had a fan event on his birthday, she concluded they'd celebrate it on hers.

"I'm going to the store on the left, come when you finish flirting."

  Annie announced, not minding the boy beside them.

That jacket! It's absolutely his style! And I can buy a necklace to match with it too!

  The girl was about to reach for the item, when someone else got it.

  Not minding it, she grabbed the next one.

  Only then, she noticed who was there.

"Jay? I thought you were at the company?"

"Haerimmie!! You're here too! I came to buy a gift for Changbin's birthday."

  The taller girl smiled widely, putting the jacket inside the store's bag.

"Oh, me too."

Since when does she buy him gifts?

"Cool! Do you think this is nice? Will he like it?"

  She pointed at the hung jackets.

"Yeah, pretty sure he'll love it!"

  Annie laughed awkwardly.

"If you say so, then he probably will! He actually asked me to spend the day next to his birthday with him, that's why I'm getting something."

  Annie froze, feeling something breaking inside of her.

The day next to his birthday?

But..?

So my crush- no, my best friend and my team leader will be on a date...on my birthday?

Did she forget?

Did he forget?

  Annie smiled again.

"I'm glad you two are getting along!"

"Yeah, we three should go out sometime!"

  Jaemin smiled.

"Right."

I'd rather not.

Thanks for the offer, though.

"I actually came here with Remi but I need to go back to the company, can you tell her?"

"Oh, yeah, sure! Where is she?"

  The girl looked behind her friend, trying to find their team mate.

"She'll be here in a second."

"Alright! What do you have to do, though?"

"I thought about a song."

  Annie smiled without her teeth, dimples slightly showing.

"Of course, not surprised. Have fun!"

  As Jaemin waved, she walked outside.

  Annie sighed, putting her earphones on and walking down the streets, questioning rather she should actually go to the company, go back home or just wander around.

  She didn't want members to ask if things were fine - they weren't -, she didn't want to be alone, but she also didn't want to bother anyone with stupid crush problems.

  The Soul Cup cafe seemed to be the best option for now: no loneliness but also no worrying anyone.

  Annie asked for a simple peach iced tea and sat down, using her phone to read a webtoon, hoping useless thoughts would go away.
