I saw 2 birds fight yesterday,
on my bike ride home.
They were on the cement,
beating up each other senselessly.
Maybe it was something stupid,
like one had gotten to close to the other's nest.
Maybe it wasn't even a fight,
maybe I saw that completely wrong.
Maybe they were dancing.
Do birds even bleed?
I've never seen them bleed before.
Whatever it was,
it sounds like they made up.
I hear them singing out my window right now.
