Harry's POV

Neville and I walked to the library happily. It felt good to have the brother figure I had dreamed of as I grew up.

"Neville do you think you could help me with the herbology homework?" I asked.

"Sure." Neville grinned.

Neville took a deep breath then said, "you may be wondering what happened to my parents well I'll tell you - you have a right to know what happened to your godmother. A few days after your parents were killed, the 2nd of November 1981, my parents were put under the cruciatus curse for so long their minds broke. They were tortured into insanity by Rodulphus, Rabastan and Bellatrix Lestrange and Barty Crouch Jr. They now reside in Saint Mungo's."

"I'm so sorry Nev. It seems as though a crouch has hurt both of us. Because Crouch Sr. I grew up in a...nasty household while you had to live without your parents." I put my arm around Neville as we walked into the library.

"Thanks Sis." He smiled faintly.

We sat down and I realised that I didn't have any of my books.

"Well there goes the idea of doing homework." I laughed.

Neville looked at me then laughed.

"You are a witch remember, you have a wand." He grinned.

"Well I'm certainly not a wizard anymore and as for the last part I do not have a wand." I smirked.

Neville got the gist of my joke and punched me laughing hysterically.

"Harry you're an idiot."

Laughing, I realised where we were. The library. I could do research. I could look for things that could injure a dragon. I really am stupid sometimes.

"Nev, help me look for dragon stuff will you?" I asked.

Neville nodded and we rushed to the magical creatures section. As we did we almost sent two girls flying.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry." I exclaimed.

"I'm sorry." Neville muttered.

I held out my hand and helped the small redhead to her feet while Neville helped the tall brunette to her feet.

"Heir Longbottom, try to be more elegant next time," the brunette stated icily.

"I apologize Miss Greengrass, Heiress Bones." Neville responded formally.

"I'm sorry Miss Greengrass, Heiress Bones." I repeated nervously.

"Lady Potter do you have any idea what you're doing." Asked the brunette.

"No I really don't. Wait I'm a lady? Please just call me Harry." I responded smiling.

"You may call me Daphne," the brunette stated.

"You can call me Susan." The redhead smiled.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I was only introduced to the idea of the Nobel ancient and Ancient houses under an hour a go so it is all very new to me." I grinned.

"You had no idea of their existence until about an hour ago, how is that possible?" Daphne whispered, horrified.

"Sirius Black was supposed to explain it to me but he was put in prison. Frank Longbottom was supposed to explain it to me but he is unable to. Albums Dumbledore was supposed to explain it to me but he didn't." I sighed.

"You do know Sirius Black is innocent right?" Susan whispered.

"I do." I grinned.

"Thank god." Daphne replied.

"Wasn't he dating someone, my aunt told  me that everyone bet on whether or not he was dating...who was it?" Susan pondered.

Neville and I snickered.

"Wasn't it Remus Lupin?" Daphne asked.

Neville and I started laughing.

"That's it. My aunt said that Dumbledore bet each member of the order of the phoenix twenty galleons that they weren't dating. I'd they got engaged Dumbledore had to pay everyone 40." Susan anounced.

"How many people were in the order of the phoenix?" Daphne asked.

"There is still at least 13 of the original order is still alive."  Susan guessed.

Neville and I were in hysterics.

I did the maths in my head Dumbledore would be down by at least six hundred galleons.  I whispered that to Neville which caused him to keel over in laughter.

"What do you know?" Daphne asked.

"I'm not allowed to say." I responded, still snickering.

I caught my breath slowly then turned to see what set of books I was near.

"Aha Dragons." I grinned.

"Don't tell me that's the first task?" Asked Susan.

"I shouldn't actually know but I do. And it gets worse." I glared at the book as if it had caused me harm.

"How?" Asked the ice queen, her voice changing the most minimal amount possible.

"Nesting mothers." I growled.

"Daphne, you up for research and teaching?" Susan asked.

Daphne nodded then turned to face me, "Harry we are going to help you look for useful things to battle a dragon while teaching you how to be a proper lady." Daphne explained.

"Great let's get going." I grinned.

I did not know what I had signed up for.
