"Ah and over here Taehyung this is a good childhood alpha of mine! She's very strong! Come come!" Miyeon wouldn't stop pulling Taehyung around. She wasn't doing anything wrong but Taehyung became flustered over all the sudden attention that he was receiving. He didn't know how to behave or when to talk, or if he could even talk at all! He was willing for Jungkook to jump in and take him away but he was no where to be seen.
Hah, I'm so exhausted.
Taehyung became all too conscious of the guests staring holes into him, he couldn't help but feel ashamed of how they may be judging him, yet Miyeon continued to confidently boast about him as though he was an equal to them. The more he thought about it the more unsure he became of the reason why.
What did they want from him?
*** (Earlier - a conversation between Namjin)
"You know I can't help myself from thinking that Jungkook and Taehyung should mark one another. I mean, we did it as soon as we met, but for them they've been together for almost 5 months now. I know they want to take it slow but at this rate if someone else marks one of them the bond can't be broken."
"Don't you think we should help them out?" Jin asked.
"I think we should, they don't know how to trust their instincts enough yet."
"Okay here's the plan; Ill talk to Taehyung and you talk to Jungkook."
"And what's my reward?" Namjoon smirked.
Jin didn't even hesitate as he pecked him on the lips.
"If you do a good job I'll give you my ass." He winked seductively.
"Fuck yeah!"
*** (Present)
"Taehyung-ah! How is the night so far my sweet little sugar!"
Jin didn't even hesitate once to harshly pinch Taehyung's cheeks despite the large crowds surrounding them.
"Ah I'm so relieved you're here hyung!"
"Aww my dear Taehyungie's missing me?"
"Haha, um hyung, do you know where Jungkook went?"
Taehyung felt a bit frustrated at how Jungkook just left him.
"He's outside sulking. Follow me."
"But mother told me to wait here till she returns."
"Don't worry she'll forget when she sees other familiar faces."
"Oh my." Taehyung shivered as the strong pheromones Jungkook unconsciously released weakened him. Jin instantly held on to Taehyung's shoulders to stabilise him. He made sure the younger was okay. They were still quite far from Jungkook, and Jin couldn't help but feel it was the perfect time.
"Taehyung, what do you think of Jungkook?" "Jungkook?" Taehyung gulped. He didn't know where to start but once he spoke it all began to flow seamlessly. "Um well, I'll be honest hyung every time i see him there's throbbing in my chest and I feel so helplessly attracted to his presence. I don't know how It happened, but I truly love him with all my heart. I feel as though I can rely on him, that he'll protect me and love me. He makes me feel relaxed and like I belong to someone, not just a cast aside pathetic omega." His saddened face projected the reality of his rank, but Jin felt even more pained remembering their lives in the Kim Palace and everything Taehyung went through.
"I'll forever be sorry Taehyung," the sorrow on his voice was evident and the omega knew exactly what he was talking about.
Taehyung flashed his boxy smile and gave Jin a big warm hug.
They chatted for a while.
"Ah yes I got trailed off! You know I'm not sure how to say this but, don't you think Jungkook should mark you?"
"Yes!"
Ah I'm so glad Taehyung's on the same page!
"So you're prepared to make your bond?"
"Yes"
"Then do it tonight. I've seen many young alphas and betas eyeing Jungkook. You wouldn't want someone else to steal him from you now would you.."
Taehyung's eyes blazed with blue fire. His anger fumed uncontrollably, making Jin's legs waver.
H-how does he do that! He's an omega, right?
"Of COURSE NOT!" He looked at Jin's scared face. "Oh, I mean okay, tonight."
Jin quickly recollected himself.
"And Jungkook, he may not look it, but he's very innocent. I can bet a million gold coins that he hasn't even let himself kiss you yet."
Taehyung's face was flushed in red. He longed for Jungkook's touch, his kiss but it always seemed too awkward.
"I guess your silence is a yes. But what I'm trying to say is, you must take the lead."
"Huh?"
Taehyung seemed to fall into a moment of paralysis.
"O-okay I will!" Taehyung began strutting towards Jungkook full of determination.
"Taehyung-ah, make me proud! Fighting!" Jin shouted out. Taehyung nodded in excitement.
Someone steal my Jungkook! Like hell I would let that happen.

Jungkook noticed Taehyung's presence close by and was delighted to see his mate walking towards him... only, there was something different. Taehyung's soft curves and his beautiful blonde hair in the soft outdoor lighting made him look hotter to Jungkook by the second.

Taehyung chucked all his thoughts out the door and stormed towards a perplexed Jungkook.

Namjoon quickly joined Jin and they were spying on them secretly behind the bushes in anticipation. Little did they know they would be left in utter shock.
